The Blues Experiment
The Blues Experiment surfaced in 2003; initially, Glenn being the only singer/ composer in the band called it: Glenn Gillis & The Blues Experiment. His very first CD came out in 2001, it was a Demo example of 12 compositions entitled, “The Traveler” In 2004, the CD entitled: “The Letter D” was Glenn’s second, and was nominated for best blues CD of that year at the (Lys Blues) gala, which was held at the Club Soda in Montreal. Changes occurred in 2005 with the arrival of two new members Barry Nameth on drums, and “René Gignac” on bass raising the band to another level. After numerous concerts, stage performances, and constantly writing new material, they decided to record another CD, however, this time it was Normand Lacroix, the lead guitarist, who composed the music, and Glenn wrote all the lyrics.
